NYX - Frizzy Spots (over P2 - elegant dressed)

Hey guys!

I recently ordered some NYX polishes, among them Frizzy Spots. I thought it made a nice addition to elegant dressed, which you saw in my last post. See for yourself!

The base is a black jelly. It's of a thick consistency, but I think that makes application easier rather than more difficult. I applied one or two coats, depending on how much of the big hexagonal glitter I could get on the nail with the first coat.

I really like this, but I think I preferred it the way I wore it on Friday - on one nail only, as accent. What do you think?

  1. I think it will look good either way. It just depends on what you're in the mood for. On your subtle days, ONE nail, and on days that you feel like being noticed (or just feel extra peppy) wear the polish on all of your nails.

I just ordered this polish yesterday, and I'm looking forward to getting it. I ordered it online, because none of the stores here where I live carries it. Even if there was a store here that had it, I don't feel like fighting the bus just to get one bottle of polish. Ordering online is so much more convenient.

I love the way this looks! The black jelled polish with the rainbow glitter really is a perfect contrast. If it were just silver glitter, I wouldn't be as awed by it. The rainbow colors make it really beautiful.

If you love this glitter, try "Dorothy" by NYX as well. "Dorothy" is a black jelly based polish with micro and large red hexagram glitter in it. Swatch for it on Google. It's a beauty!

    1. That's a good idea :D

Cool, let me know how you like it! It is so convenient to order online - especially if you live in a more rural-type area. I totally get you :)

The rainbow shine definitely makes this. It reminds me of Mercury, haha.

I recently posted about Dorothy, actually. It was the first polish that I wanted from NYX and it's great :)

    2. Hi, Andrea!
I just received "Frizzy Spots" nail polish in the mail today. I LOVE it! I'm wearing it over Wet n Wild's "Ebony Hates Chris". It's a solid black polish.

  2. I'm actually wearing NYX's "Frizzy Spots" on my thumb, middle, and pinky fingers on both hands. It looks great! I'm pleased. Sorry for leaving two posts, but this iPad of mine gets stuck sometimes on websites like this.

    1. That sounds fun :) Don't worry about it.
